I’m preparing a really cool blog post in the archaeo-acoustics vein, but I’m running out of time in the day. So, here’s a bunch of David Bowie and Iggy Pop videos from the 1976 to 1979 time frame (the Berlin years) to tide you over.

Here’s another classic.

I took a listen. It turns out that you are, in fact, WRONG.
Although I think I hear the distinctive bleat of a cocaine-loving she-goat in long flowing pagan robes as a background singer.
Here’s another sighting of said singer. Pretty sure I’m right. About the cocaine, I mean. See if you can make it through all 7 minutes:

You should work on a “cocaine” filter so that today’s youth can achieve the sound without the tragedy. You could bundle it with a pair of rose-colored aviator glasses.
Since you brought it up.

This one is better. You don’t get seasick from the dude holding the camera to film it off the TV.

Thanks, Viv’s Mom. Thanks for classing up my blog.
Screw it. No more DSP or archaeo-acoustics. I’m putting up cat pictures tomorrow.
